MEMORY AND HERITAGE “Memory and social imaginaries”

Objective: To foster initiatives about the collective construction of memory so the tangible and intangible historic heritage can be considered an asset for cultural, social, and economic development in the region. Thus promoting activities oriented towards the protection and re-appropriation of cultural, social, and historical memory.

ENVIRONMENT, BODY AND SOCIETY

Objective: To encourage the construction of new ways to relate with/within our societies’ natural environment, through the articulation of their aesthetic, political and ethical aspects, by connecting the environment, social relationships and human subjectivity in order to favor better ways of life and foster harmony between nature and culture.

TRANSDISCIPLINARITY, TECHNOLOGY, AND TRANSMEDIA

Objective: To promote the construction of knowledge in the areas of Art, Design, and Photography, through transdisciplinary analysis, synthesis and assessment, and the implementation and production of technology or media.

MUSICAL CREATION THEORIES AND PROCESSES

Objective: To promote the construction of different meanings in musical practices, by means of a dialogical relation between theories and creation processes.
